Episode 36 & 37 (11th Trip)
Trip Details:

It's winter time. The boys divided up into teams of three (same group as the "ping pong line" from the last trip [Su Guen, Ji Won & MC Mong -v- Ho Dong, Kim C & Seung Gi]) to play the cultural game "jegi" or "hackey sack". The team which scored the most from jegi would ride in a warm luxurious bus.
Kim C gave maknae Seung Gi a new year's gift, Heo Dang nickname on this trip. His nickname stays until today =) Heo Dang basically means he's smart but sometimes he speaks before he thinks, making him funny but cute at the same time.Sleeping Arrangement & King Crab Catch Team Game: Badminton Match

After an Olympic-like-winning-celebration, the winning team got on the bus, while the losing team unfortunately had to endure the cold in the convertible by listening to MC Mong's Ice Cream Song. Huahaha.. Who put his CD there? It's genius.
On the other hand, the bus team composed a song expressing their frustration about their suffering in 1N2D. The song's rhythm is similar with Ji Won's song Adios. I love the song and I actually wish they use it as 1N2D theme song. This song is included in 1N2D fan compilation album (track 2) by katjacute.

Everybody screams "Silly Game"While the bus team's enjoying their ride, the convertible team was planning a dramatic scene of rock, paper, scissor game and hope that they'd able to switch ride. One mistake by Ho Dong made this team lost the game they planned by themselves!
So they played another game of stacking coal blocks and the person who's unable to stack it & made the block to fall down would ride in a convertible car with his team members.
After the game, the convertible & bus team stayed the same and I actually feel relieved as Ji Won was unwell during this trip. It would make his condition worsen if he had to ride in a cold convertible car.
As soon as they arrived in the basecamp, they took a break in a warm room. The boys were discussing the possibility that three of them would go on 6 hours king crab catching the next morning. They remembered the last boat trip to Gageo-do in which most of them got sea-sick.
The boys stayed in the same team throughout this trip and they played badminton to decide the sleeping arrangement and king crab expedition team. Continuing last trip's low quality match, now we're entertained with another one MC Mong -v- Seung Gi's badminton match! But this time, they both were much better badminton players. The tensions were pretty nerve-racking. No team wanted to wake up at 3 in the morning to go on an exhausting 6 hours boat trip.
Fortunately, team Ho Dong lost the match and MC Mong offered to cook dinner for everyone. Ji Won at this time went to hospital with his manager. awww... poor Ji Won.. :(
After yummy dinner and Ji Won's re-united with his 1N2D brothers, they finally settled in in a big long red blanket which was wide enough to cover 6 people. They also received a new year's gift from the Production Staffs, a photo album with special messages for each of them:
Ho Dong: KBS Entertainer of the Year award for 2008, Kang Ho Dong. We congratulate you one year in advance. Fighting!
Ji Won: Eun Cho Ding is to be around for life.
MC Mong: In the new year, we hope you forget about your movie star dreams and apply yourself to be a stage-performer

Episode 33 & 35 (10th Trip) - 1st Free Trip

So after taking around 7 hours in KBS Building, looking for places to go, they spoke with Lee Wi Soo who's gladly agreed to have surprise visitors at his place. Because they didn't have any allowance, they decided to stop by at Seung Gi's & MC Mong's place & grabbed food & basic utensils from their places.
Along the way, they stopped in a rest stop (to buy gift for Lee Wi Soo & snack [fish bread]). Eun Ji Won signed a long-term contract in this trip in exchange of fishcake stick.
Then, they were arguing whether or not an animal feels any pain. The members who gave the correct answer would get dinner as rewards =)
After traveling for long hours, they finally reached Lee Wi Soo's house and received warmly by him & his wife. It's snowy outside and Lee Wi Soo joked that they needed an ambulance in standby as it's gonna be extremely cold sleeping outside in a tent. It's so sweet to see his wife's a big fan of MC Mong.
Sleeping Arrangement was decided through Ping Pong Match and it's the start of the low-quality match between MC Mong & Lee Seung Gi ^_^
Everyone's so nervous watching this "low-quality-Olympic-stressed-out-match", but in the end, team Ho Dong, Kim C & Seung Gi won and got to sleep inside.
The tent team played a prank on them by throwing snow into the winning team's room and they started to snow-fight together!
In the morning, they said goodbye to Lee Wi Soo and decided to join in with him to sing a song. Seung Gi sang White Lie and Su Guen rapped in between the song. :D
Episode 31 & 32 (9th Trip) - MC Mong's First Trip
Trip Details:
Basecamp: Gageo-do
Transportation: Boat from Makpo to Gageo-do
Sleeping Arrangement: Kanari Bokbulbok Game
Introducing the new member of 1N2D (replacing Jong Min), MC Mong. He's the wild monkey who know how to make impression on his very first trip. He's also the only 1N2D member who never suffer any seasickness. He even leisurely ate his instant noodle while the other members slept due to seasickness! Unbelievable....
30 minutes after they set off from Mokpo, they split up into teams of three (30s -v- 20s) and played "tickle toleration contest" to get 3 bottles of seasickness medicine. Seung Gi represented the 20s team & Su Guen represented the 30s team.
MC Mong is truly the master of instigator, he "green-taped" Ho Dong who was sleeping in the corridor (with the help of magnae Seung Gi & Su Guen). Buahahaha....
After traveling for 230km, they finally reached land and went to their base camp, which was in the middle of nowhere. They split up into two teams: MC Mong & Seung Gi were assigned to catch fish (in which they were unable to catch anything), and the other members built their tents in an extremely windy cliff.
As the night went deeper, the fishing team who were scared of Ho Dong because they didn't get anything, decided to follow the fisherman who they met while fishing to his house. They ate raw fish caught by him. The other members who were wondering where they were caught up with them and finally ate together.
At night time, Su Guen watched Ho Dong's Kneel Guru show on TV and they decided to perform spontaneous Kneel Guru Show with Su Guen as the MC. Hilarious!
They had kanari bokbulbok game to decide their sleeping arrangement.
In the morning, the youngest boys decided to pull another prank on their eldest (Ho Dong) by drawing on his face while he's sleeping. Buahaha...
After all the morning pranks & breakfast provided by the staff, the members went to Gageodo Elementary School to play with them (relay batton game & tug-of-war). They also had pizza together. Lovely moments.
Episode 30 (8th Trip) - Kim Jong Min's Last Episode Prior to MS

Theme: Winter Ocean/Beach Trip

Transportation: Bus
One member of the team wanted to see the ocean during winter time, so PD Lee gratefully accepted his "request", much to the dismay of the other members. They departed at night time and Ho Dong mentioned that the next day was his first wedding anniversary. Ho Dong & the members called his wife at midnight to congratulate them on their anniversary.
They only received $6 allowance for food, which they bought eggs and then ramyun at the rest stop. They played leap the frog game to decide who would eat the noodle.
In the beach, they played Sirreum match with Ho Dong and the members who lost had to plunge into the cold water sea. During this time in their trip, unfortunately, Jong Min had to leave early for his military service so it was sad to see him go =(
In the end, one member plunged into the sea and this episode ends with Kim Jong Min's Farewell Message.
Episode 27, 28 & 29 (7th Trip) - Lee Seung Gi's First Trip & Extreme Wild Trip

Sleeping Arrangement Game: 30s -v- 20s
They introduced the new member of the team, magnae Lee Seung Gi who initially only came to 1N2D as a guest but was surprised to see the "long term contract" banner on his first appearance.
For this trip, they received $60 money allowance to cover all of their expenses for the whole trip (incl. the petrol). Craziness started before they even left KBS Building as they trying to figure out whether or not they can turn on the heater, radio, headlight, etc, to save petrol. And more craziness as Jong Min & Ji Won spent most of their allowance at the supermarket. They even ate noodles without the other members' knowledge.
Luckily, they received extra $10 from PD Lee, but Ho Dong lost it so they parked near the toll gate to look for the envelope. While they're looking for it, Jong Min (who was still bitter because he was left behind while eating his noodles couple trip back), drove the car by himself, leaving the other members stunned.
The other members were trying to catch up with him, Seung Gi & Kim C walked together & when they saw steamed bun shop, they sneakily run away from the others and bought the buns. The other three members caught them and after fierce negotiation, they finally shared the buns together & caught up with Jong Min (who accidentally left the car engine running while he was resting, so they run out of petrol).
In the basecamp, they're working hard together to prepare dinner & fireplace.
Sleeping Arrangement Game (30s -v- 20s)
1. Who has the most clothes one game: Kim C (from 30s) & Jong Min (from 20s)
2. Turn their body 360deg in the hammock game: Su Guen (from 30s) & Seung Gi (from 20s)

In the morning, the members had art showcases in which everyone drew their most memorable moment from this trip.

Finally, I decided to create a blog about 1Night 2Days. I will mainly list the places visited by the members, the food they ate during the trip, the missions / games they played as well as the special memories from each trip.

EPISODE 183 & 184 (82nd Trip)

The "kind" PD Na decided to give 1n2d staffs a vacation, hence, for this "winter break special trip", no 1n2d staff members would be coming with the members. Shocked, surprised and undoubtedly unhappy, the members kept asking if PD Na believed that it was the right decision! Hahaha... They confused of what they should be doing during this trip as they had to tape themselves and changed the tape themselves, something they never did in the past.
But true to their reality sense, they had a lot of fun on this trip. Starting from Lee Seung Gi's famous PD Na's imitation catchprases, the members' throw the stones game in the ravine (unfortunately, this scene has no sound as Heodang Seung Gi accidentally turned off the volume on one of the tape recorder - but 1n2d staffs made this scene totally funny though) and PD Na's surprise midnight visit congratulating the members for all their hard work for year 2010.
EPISODE 181 -183 (81st Trip)

Mission:
Kang Ho Dong, Lee Su Guen, Eun Ji Won, Kim Jong Min and Lee Seung Gi went to five different cities. Everyone must introduce the city as well as completing their given relay mission before 7PM. If they are successful, they would sleep inside a warm room in their basecamp, but if they fail, they would have to sleep in one of the street in Daejeon!
Kang Ho Dong was the first member who had to do his mission. He went to Daegu to take pictures of places which remind them of what Daegu looks like 100 years ago.
Kim Jong Min was the second and he had to send a postcard to 1n2d member from the biggest mailbox in Ulsan.
Lee Seung Gi was the third to do his mission. He had to find the street (in Busan) which has lots of second-hand bookstores and buy the second-hand books requested on his mission.
Lee Su Guen was the fourth and again he got the hardest mission - climb to the top of Mudeungsan in Gwangju and have autograph session for 20 people.
Eun Ji Won who was in Incheon had to do 10 group jump rope with 10 people in China Town.
Sleeping Game:
Kang Ho Dong brought Jun Hyoek to their basecamp and they played zero game - sleeping bokbulbok game in teams of three: Kang Ho Dong, Jun Hyoek, Su Guen -v- Ji Won, Jong Min, Seung Gi.
The losing team slept in front of Daejeon City Hall (in the tent).
EPISODE 179 & 180 (80th Trip)

Theme: Gourmet Trip

Breakfast Mission: Climb to Mt Cheongwan; the first four members to bring the flag back would get yummy clam mussel bibimbap breakfast. Last person would dig 1000 manila clams
Lunch Game: Answer the given riddles. Last person who couldn't get any fan mussels would dig manila clams
Dinner & Sleeping Bokbulbok Game: In less than 25 seconds, all 5 members must enter all three rooms in the basecamp - starting from the first room - second room - third room and back to the first room.
Morning Breakfast Bokbulbok Game: Choose one of the van which will take the members either to the closeby restaurant or to the restaurant in Jejudo!

Another island, another treasure. For this trip, the members had to collect their own food and basically supplying themselves for the duration of this food.
They played pictionary and based on the result of the game, the members were allocated the mission as follows:
- Ho Dong to collect barnacles
- Su Guen to dig sweet potatoes
- Ji Won to collect limpet
- Jong Min to catch rockfish
- Seung Gi to dry the fresh kelp

This trip will always be my most memorable trip ever as it introduces the beauty of 1000 years old temple and Korean traditional game "yut". This trip was MC Mong last trip and I'm still sad thinking about him. Miss him so much!

EPISODE 139 & 140 (62nd Trip) - 2 Islands Trip

The second trip after Jong Min came back from his MS and the 7 members first trip in 2010. They shot their opening in Makpo Coastal Ferry Terminal and as the PD gave them the tickets to board the boat, Ho Dong noticed that one member would go to Gageo Island (the island where they visited on MC Mong's First Trip - in which Seung Gi and MC Mong had to catch black porgies but they failed the mission).
Therefore, PD Na wanted one member to complete this mission by himself.
The members began complaining that they had a hard time reaching Gageo Island last time due to seasickness. Then they realized that Jong Min hasn't been to Gageo Island yet, so they proposed that he'd the perfect person to go there! In which Jong Min replied that they should play a bokbulbok game =) Clever Jong Min.
Everyone agreed to play rock, paper, scissor. And the unthinkable happened. Everyone put paper, except one person.
And the lucky one was: MC Mong!
Disbelief, MC Mong had to accept the truth that Gageo Island & him are inseparable. He proposed that one person should accompany him as it's no fun to catch black porgies alone. So they played speed quiz. In the end, Jong Min was chosen to accompany him. A new line was born this episode the "79 line" as both MC Mong & Jong Min were born in 1979.
After that, everyone on board got seasick, except of course the wild Monkey, MC Mong. Even I got nauseous just by looking at them! But MC Mong leisurely enjoyed his noodle.
After a harsh journey on a rocky boat, 5 members finally arrived at Heuksan Island and were asked to take a short break as they were look extremely exhausted. Poor Jong Min who suffered seasickness and was lying on the floor of the boat had to suffer another two hours on the boat!
After short break, the 5 members were told that they could ask as much allowance as they wanted for this trip. Knowing that there must be trick behind this, they confronted the PD and asked if they had to catch skatefish. PD Na told them "yes" and obviously the members were nervous of another seasickness they had to suffer again during this trip.
I love Seung Gi's new catchprase: If you don't want to do it, then just quit! Hahahaha... He's so witty ah..
Basically, the members were given a piece of paper and were allowed to write any amount they wanted for this trip. Then the PD would compare the amounts written by them, and they would be given the least amount written by the member. However, the member who wrote this least amount would be given 10x the amount he wrote.
On the other hand, because it's winter time and the water's too cold, both MC Mong & Jong Min were unable to catch anything. But they had a great bonding experience on their Gageo Trip.
The 5 members at Heuksan Island had a hard time answering picture quizzes for their dinner bokbulbok =) And they played three games to decide 2 members who would be sent away to catch skatefish at 2AM in the morning.
My most favorite scenes from their skatefish bokbulbok were:
1. Su Guen's jegi pieces broke and he failed in the jegi game he proposed!
2. Seung Gi's own exercise when he helped Ho Dong with his abs exercise game
3. Ji Won's crazy fighting spirit abs exercise - he did 12 times within 10 seconds time limit
