1Night 2Days is a reality show of 6 celebrities travel overnight together to showcase the beauty of South Korea. Besides enjoying the scenery, they also enjoy the delicacies from that particular area. For each trip, they usually be given a strict allowance and they always have missions for their lunch / dinner & sleeping arrangement. Their trip usually aired in two separate episodes (once per week).
1Night 2Days is part of Happy Sunday, a reality-tv segment in KBS - South Korea. Prior to 1Night 2Days, this show was called Are You Ready, hosted by National MC, Kang Ho Dong.

Starting from Episode 13, Are You Ready's Name & Segment was changed to 1Night 2Days and they first visited Yeongdong in North Chungcheong with their mascot, Sangguen. 1N2D first episode was broadcasted on 5 August 2007 and their original members were: Kang Ho Dong (Main MC), Lee Su Guen, Eun Ji Won, Kim Jong Min, Ji Sang Ryul, No Hong Chul.
