EPISODE 139 & 140 (62nd Trip) - 2 Islands Trip

Basecamp: Heuksan Island & Gageo Island (MC Mong & Jong Min)

Skatefish Bokbulbok Game: Jegi, Arm Wrestling & Abs exercise

Sleeping Arrangement: N/A (Everyone slept indoor)

The second trip after Jong Min came back from his MS and the 7 members first trip in 2010. They shot their opening in Makpo Coastal Ferry Terminal and as the PD gave them the tickets to board the boat, Ho Dong noticed that one member would go to Gageo Island (the island where they visited on MC Mong's First Trip - in which Seung Gi and MC Mong had to catch black porgies but they failed the mission).

Therefore, PD Na wanted one member to complete this mission by himself. 

The members began complaining that they had a hard time reaching Gageo Island last time due to seasickness. Then they realized that Jong Min hasn't been to Gageo Island yet, so they proposed that he'd the perfect person to go there! In which Jong Min replied that they should play a bokbulbok game =) Clever Jong Min. 

Everyone agreed to play rock, paper, scissor. And the unthinkable happened. Everyone put paper, except one person.

And the lucky one was: MC Mong! 

Disbelief, MC Mong had to accept the truth that Gageo Island & him are inseparable. He proposed that one person should accompany him as it's no fun to catch black porgies alone. So they played speed quiz. In the end, Jong Min was chosen to accompany him. A new line was born this episode the "79 line" as both MC Mong & Jong Min were born in 1979. 

After that, everyone on board got seasick, except of course the wild Monkey, MC Mong. Even I got nauseous just by looking at them! But MC Mong leisurely enjoyed his noodle. 

After a harsh journey on a rocky boat, 5 members finally arrived at Heuksan Island and were asked to take a short break as they were look extremely exhausted. Poor Jong Min who suffered seasickness and was lying on the floor of the boat had to suffer another two hours on the boat!

After short break, the 5 members were told that they could ask as much allowance as they wanted for this trip. Knowing that there must be trick behind this, they confronted the PD and asked if they had to catch skatefish. PD Na told them "yes" and obviously the members were nervous of another seasickness they had to suffer again during this trip. 

I love Seung Gi's new catchprase: If you don't want to do it, then just quit! Hahahaha... He's so witty ah..

Basically, the members were given a piece of paper and were allowed to write any amount they wanted for this trip. Then the PD would compare the amounts written by them, and they would be given the least amount written by the member. However, the member who wrote this least amount would be given 10x the amount he wrote.

On the other hand, because it's winter time and the water's too cold, both MC Mong & Jong Min were unable to catch anything. But they had a great bonding experience on their Gageo Trip.

The 5 members at Heuksan Island had a hard time answering picture quizzes for their dinner bokbulbok =) And they played three games to decide 2 members who would be sent away to catch skatefish at 2AM in the morning. 

My most favorite scenes from their skatefish bokbulbok were:

1. Su Guen's jegi pieces broke and he failed in the jegi game he proposed!

2. Seung Gi's own exercise when he helped Ho Dong with his abs exercise game

3. Ji Won's crazy fighting spirit abs exercise - he did 12 times within 10 seconds time limit
